 To get the best out of the curriculum, a student besides an open mind needs to be regular and present in the sessions not only physically but also mentally. Prior preparation and active participation is a prerequisite for all courses. The programme consists of: The core programme in the first year and the elective programme in the second year.

 

Year I

 

In the first year of management program, the students will be first exposed to 8 basic modules which give them orientation to management and then the next set of 9 modules gives them an organizational perspective. Integrated Leadership Perspective gives an overall picture through case studies by summing up all 17 modules. The student will also learn 8 modules of Management Essentials which helps them to develop specific skills in decision making.

 

Orientation to Management

A series of foundational courses teaches the skills and language required in any career in business and management.

 

Organizational Perspectives

Courses that look at how organizations really work with their many constituencies. These courses teach what students need to know to lead a thriving organization. Many of the class sessions are team taught by faculty who bring diverse perspectives to the questions under discussion.

 

Integrated Leadership Perspective

After the students being exposed to analyze data, working in teams, how organizations thrive, big trends in the global marketplace, they need to put it all together. The Integrated Leadership Perspective cases look at real organizational dilemmas and the complex challenges involved in leading a contemporary business.

 

Management Essentials

In addition to the modules which gives orientation to management, organizational perspectives and integrated leadership perspectives, six modules are included as management essentials in the first year. These modules help the students to develop essentials skills in Finance, Organisational Behaviour, Business Research and Marketing require for Summer Internship Prgrammes

 

YEAR 2

 

As the students move to second year, they will be studying 10 electives along with following trainings:

 

Summer Internship Programme

Students undertake eight-ten week of summer internship after the completion of first year with any organization in their preferred area of specialization. The objective of SIP is to help the students related the concepts learned in the class with practice in real life situations, make them aware business practices and instill a sense of discipline in the student. It is a mandatory training for all students and is equivalent to two full courses.

 

Workshops

A series of workshop are offered in every slot in order to supplement classroom teaching and enhance various skills and learning of students. Through these workshops we aim to prepare the students for the corporate world and help them achieve their goals of better employment.

 

Industry Visits / Live Project

As a part of integrated learning process, the students take up live projects with corporates and NGOs in and around Delhi which serve as a platform to put classroom learning into practice.
