Before moving to academics and executive education, Rakesh Chaudhry worked with some of the leading listed public limited companies in India for 30 years. He brings a wealth of strategy and leadership based knowledge to his sessions. His responsibilities at various stages covered B2B Marketing, Business Strategy, Purchasing, Projects, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain.He has held senior positions as President, CEO and Managing Director.Rakesh Chaudhry has a B.Sc. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab University Chandigarh, and studied for his MBA at University of Hawaii and Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He worked with Detroit Industrial Consultants in USA before moving back to India.In his sessions, he combines academic perspective with ground realities to develop a framework that students and participants can relate to.His involvement with European multinationals operating in India along with the skills gained from exports to Middle East and Asian pacific countries provided him with an excellent cross cultural perspective and negotiation skills base.He has conducted a large number of workshops and seminars for Executive Development. His strengths include focused communication, people development, strategic planning, business analysis, and process mapping for efficiency and continuous improvement.
